Weddings
The University of Richmond is pleased to offer the Cannon Memorial Chapel as the location for your wedding ceremony. Weddings may be held throughout the year, but availability is dependent upon already scheduled University activities. Examples include: Homecoming, Reunion Weekend and Commencement Weekend. The Chapel may be booked only on Saturdays from mid January through the first of December.
CHANGE NOTICE: The Cannon Memorial Chapel renovation schedule has been altered, the Chapel WILL BE AVAILABLE for weddings until May 8, 2011.
If you had called for a date between Jan 2010 - May 2011 please call back if you are still interested in the Chapel for your wedding. The Chapel will be unavailable for weddings starting May 8, 2011 due to renovations.

Wedding Ceremony
To use Cannon Memorial Chapel for a wedding ceremony:
- Bride or groom is an alumnus/a or current student enrolled in a degree program
- Immediate family of bride or groom is an alumnus/a, includes parents or siblings on either side
- Bride or groom is a current staff or faculty member
- Parent of bride or groom is a current staff or faculty member
Locations for wedding ceremonies can be booked more than a year in advance. Traditionally the Chapel is booked up to 2 years in advance. There is a rental fee for the use of the Chapel.

Wedding Reception
Wedding receptions are held at the Jepson Alumni Center from mid-May through mid-August.
To use the Jepson Alumni Center for a reception:
- Bride or groom is an alumnus/a at the time of the wedding
- Parent of Bride or groom is an alumnus/a
- Bride or Groom is a current staff or faculty member
- Parent of bride or groom is a current staff or faculty member
Wedding receptions can be booked no more than one year in advance from the date of the wedding. There is a rental fee for use of the Jepson Alumni Center.
